Jun 6th | Chain Bracelet Workshop

In this 4-hour workshop, you will be guided through the steps of basic chain making. Class sizes are kept small to ensure hands-on instruction from an experienced metalsmith. Each student will create their own sterling silver chain from start to finish, with options to apply custom textures to each link. Enough material is provided to make a 8" long bracelet; additional materials available for purchase if needed. Skills covered:

• Making a hook clasp
  
• Forming and cutting links
  
• Soldering
• Shaping and texturing
  
• Assembly
  
• Refining and polishing
  

*All materials and the use of tools is included.

*For safety reasons, I kindly ask that students be age 18+, or 16+ with a participating parent/guardian.

*Please bring eye magnification if needed. We will be working with small items which can be difficult to see clearly for some.
